The system will utilise an Olympus NDT Omniscan PA phased array instrument to generate ultrasonic data in conjunction with a 128 element linear array probe, data will be captured and evaluated in the latest Midas-NDT Zeus v3 data acquisition and evaluation package. The up-graded system will be able to inspect components in approximately 1/20th of the time taken using conventional techniques. |
