Rotary Inspection System Refurbishment Midas-NDT have won a major order to refurbish a rotary jet probe inspection system. The system, originally supplied by SEPEMA, will be dis-assembled by midas-ndt personnel at a factory in France and transported to midas-ndt premises in England for a complete refurbishment, the system will then be re-installed at a United Kingdom aerospace manufacturer as part of a turn-key operation. The seven axis system will be fitted with the latest ultrasonics, precision servo control system, computer hardware and inspection software and will be used for the inspection of both rotary and flat components. |
