Midas-NDT acquire Linley Engineering
Midas-NDT have acquired Linley Engineering, an engineering machine shop based at Coleford in the Forest of Dean employing eight skilled engineers. Founded by Graham Linley in 1984, the company started out manufacturing precision components in Lydbrook, including turbo-charger manifolds, pressure relief valves and moulds for polyurethane components for various Forest of Dean companies.

In 2000 the company relocated to Coleford and has since expanded rapidly to meet customer demands. Linley Engineering have been a major supplier of components and assemblies to Midas-NDT for more than five years.
A team of highly skilled engineers and a fully equipped machine shop allows the in-house manufacture of both large and small precision components on manual and CNC milling and turning equipment. Facilities include full three dimensional milling (up to 1000mm x 500mm x 500mm), turning of components (up to 500mm in diameter x 1500mm in length) and manual milling of components (up to 4200mm in length).

Linley Engineering will continue to function as a fully independent operation within the Midas-NDT group of companies.
