| Complex Geometry Inspection System Order Midas-NDT have won a major order to supply a complex geometry inspection system. The system will be supplied to a European aerospace customer for the inspection of composite components and will consist of a 6,000mm by 2,500mm by 1,000mm ten axis jet probe system under full multi-axis computer control. The system, designed for the precision inspection of double curved panels, will utilise the latest midas-ndt ultrasonic instrumentation, data will be captured and evaluated in the latest midas-ndt Zeus v3 data acquisition and evaluation package. | |

The system has two independent towers each containing five axes of movement (length, width, height, vertical angle & horizontal angle), this combination of movement axes allows the complete inspection of double curved aerospace components. The system will be the second of this style to be delivered in 2008, with a similar system currently nearing completion ready for installation at Aircelle in Burnley, England. |
