| C-GIS2 Complex Geometry Inspection System Midas-NDT have delivered a complex geometry inspection system to Aircelle Ltd. in Burnley, England, the system is for the inspection of composite components and consists of a 6,500mm by 4,000mm by 1,850mm (scanning dimensions) jet probe system under full multi-axis computer control of all ten axes of movement. The system, designed for the precision inspection of double curve panels, specifically IFS panels for the A380 aircraft, will utilise the latest midas-ndt ultrasonic instrumentation, data will be captured and evaluated in the latest midas-ndt Zeus v3 data acquisition and evaluation package. | |

| The system has two independent towers each containing five axes of movement (length, width, height, vertical angle & horizontal angle), this combination of ten movement axes allows the complete inspection of all angles necessary for double curved aerospace components. | |
