| A new Overlay function in Zeus v3 allows operators to create overlays that can be saved and applied to later scan files. This facility gives an operator a simple tool to mark components to identify specific areas, this can be used to identify features within the component or to mark relevant inspection areas. A full range of tools are available for the creation of rectangles, circles, polygons, lines, arcs and text with full facilities for controlling colours, fills, transparency levels etc.. |

| In the example below a simple polygon has been drawn around the entire component shape and another polygon used to identify an area of specialist interest (a different honeycomb to the overall component). The overlay can be loaded by the operator and moved to align it to the outside of the component and the operator can then quickly check that the honeycomb is in the correct position. | |
