Rotary Inspection System Refurbishment Midas-NDT have won a major order to refurbish a rotary jet probe inspection system. The system, originally supplied by SEPEMA, will be completely refurbished before re-installation at a United Kingdom aerospace manufacturer as part of a turn-key operation. The seven axis system will be fitted with the latest ultrasonics, precision servo control system, computer hardware and inspection software and will be used for the inspection of both rotary and flat components. This rotary system will be the first rotary system installed by Midas-NDT to have the option of both conventional scanning and helical scanning. |
