Rotary Inspection System Refurbishment Midas-NDT engineers have carried out the complete refurbishment of a rotary jet probe inspection system. The system, originally supplied by SEPEMA, was dis-assembled by midas-ndt personnel at a factory in France and transported to midas-ndt premises in England for a complete refurbishment, the system has now been re-installed at a United Kingdom aerospace manufacturer as part of a turn-key operation. The seven axis system has been fitted with the latest ultrasonics, precision servo control system, computer hardware and inspection software and will be used for the inspection of both rotary and flat components. |
