| All ultrasonic parameters are stored in the scan shape file and can easily be recalled by the operator using the given scan shape name. This allows a customer to carry out the inspection of multiple components of a similar shape by merely allocating a filename to each individual component. A recalled scan shape will contain all motion control parameters and every aspect of ultrasonic set up data, allowing the operator to repeat inspections under identical conditions. Facilities are also available to modify any aspect of the scan parameters and save as a separate parameter file, thus allowing the operator, for instance, to take all aspects of a previous inspection and alter the inspection frequency. | |
